The company provides product development and commercial direction, whilst the institutional partner provides the majority of the infrastructure and research expertise.

The company also provides early-stage funding, project management and commercialization strategies for a direct collaboration, a spin out company or to secure a license.

BioPharmica partners with several academic institutions, including University of Western Australia (UWA), Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR), Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) and The Royal Melbourne Institute for Technology (RMIT) University.
