Company Profile

Medeserv was established in 1994 and is Australia's largest eLearning healthcare comapny. The company has become a trusted name for facilitating change processes with both individuals and groups throughout the health sector. In 2007, Medeserv was acquired by the University of Queensland (UQ) and in 2009 the name was changed to PrimEd but still trades as Medeserv for the Health sector.

Medeserv-PrimEd remains a private and independant entity of UQ, allowing tailored, targeted responses to company and medical/health organisational requests. At its core, PrimEd is an organisation with a team of over 68 people and has completed over 600 projects over the last 15 years. These programs have been delivered both online via the internet and in small group seminars throughout Australia. Over 1,200 hours of online education in clincial traniing and clinician soft skills have been created by the company.

Medeserv clients represent a broad cross section of the health sector, and many of our projects require collaboration across the sector. Key clients include: Peak disease bodies such as Kidney Health Australia, Medical Oncology Group of Australia, Gastroenterological Society of Australia, Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand NSW Health and Queensland Health departments, including Patient Safety Centre, Medical Workforce Advice and Coordination Unit, Office of the Chief Nursing Officer, Clinical Practice Improvement Centre, Skills Development Centre Medical Learned Colleges including RANZCR, ANZCA, RACGP Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Australian Government, including Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Health Care, Department of Health and Ageing.
