Neuren Pharmaceuticals Limited (Neuren) is a biopharmaceutical company focusing on the development of drugs for neurological disorders, metabolism and cancer.
The drugs target acute indications of brain injury, such as cognitive impairment resulting from traumatic brain injury, psychiatric symptoms of stroke, as well as chronic conditions, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases. Neuren has three lead candidates. Motiva and NNZ-2566, which is in clinical development to treat four different neurological conditions, and NNZ-2591 in preclinical development for Parkinson’s disease dementia and other chronic neurodegenerative conditions.
The Company has operations in New Zealand and the United States.
