Novogen is based on a family of naturally-occurring plant compounds known as flavonoids which are important and primitive regulators of such basic functions of cells in Nature as how they survive and maintain normal vigor and then die at a predetermined time. Such effects occur also in human cells and humans consume flavonoids in such substantial quantities.


The company has Phase I, Phase II & Phase III (for cervical cancer) compounds. General areas of focus include:

 - Cancer
 - Heart disease (stroke, hypertension, coronary artery disease)
 - Osteoporosis
 - Chronic inflamatory diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, chronic back pain) 
 - Inflammatory Bowel Disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's Disease)

Novogen is addressing this area of medical need through the Novogen isoflavonoid technology platform - a platform that the Company believes offers the prospect of not only treating, but also preventing, the onset of these common degenerative conditions. And includes at l;east 2 divisions:


 1. Pharmaceutical division – developing an extensive portfolio of prescription drugs

 2. Consumer health division – developing a range of non-prescription products meeting important health needs of men and women
