Tissue Therapies Limited is an Australia-based biotechnology company. The Company is principally engaged in the research, development and commercialization of the Company’s international intellectual property in wound healing and tissue regeneration.

Tissue Therapies Limited provides wound healing, tissue repair and cell culture technology through a growth factor platform technology, VitroGro. In July 2008, approval was received for an eight patient human trial of VitroGro for the treatment of venous ulcers. In November 2008, approval was received from Health Canada for a human trial of VitroGro for the treatment of diabetic, venous and pressure ulcers. Its customers and clients are located predominantly in Australia.

VitroGro® is a defined, synthetic, animal product free platform technology with applications in research, industrial, pharmaceutical, clinical and medical markets. This exclusive technology will deliver growth enhancing factors to cells, tissue and patients via a patented complex based on the protein vitronectin.

GMP VitroGro® sold and distributed world wide exclusively through Invitrogen Corporation VitroGro® cell culture and protein products provide an animal-origin free substrate for feeder cell-free culture of cells, including stem cells for laboratory studies, as well as cell important industrially for protein production.

Approx. $2.4M in cash in April 2011. A fund raising is ocurring via a rights issue in May 2011.
