Community "Stock Pick" data results from POLLs

Once you are registered and logged in the top menu of the website changes to have "Stock Picks" on the RHS. By clicking this menu item you can view the Community consensus "Stock Pick" data results from POLLs.

The votes represent the results from last 30 days of voting by community members and is ordered with the strongest BUY recommendations at the top of the list (with Bar charts for BUY/SELL/HOLD). To list in order based on community recommended buys the pooled results are represented by: (BUY + HOLD) over SELL ratio

Adding a friend.. and track their BLOG or tip postings

You can add a Friend so that whenever they post a BLOG or video you get notified and it enables "chat". To do so simply click on a member's profile picture and then on the RHS select "Add to Friends".

If they elect to allow you to be their friend you can then chat with "live text chat" and will be notified of their BLOG postings (good if you think they have good insight into the sector).


Create a "Favourites" stock list - prices, videos, BLOG in one glance

Use the "Add to favorites" function when logged in if you are visiting a company page. This will:

Give your log-in homepage a snap shot of companies you track and in one glance get:

      - POLL voite re Buy or Sell
      - recent price
      - latest uploaded video
      - latest BLOG on that company

It is much like the adding a Friend tool (another investor you would like to communicate with, or be notified anytime they place a BLOG/comment on the site).


Uploading videos & adding video links

Uploading videos & adding video links are possible for any registered user. We ask that you keep video postings relevant to the following categories:

1.    Biotechnology companies & market trends
2.    Medical companies & market trends
3.    General Stock market trends and stories
4.    Investing information such as Venture Capital or Government funding

Users can stream in any Youtube video by simply pasting in the “watch video URL” which id displayed on the right hand side of any Youtube.com video page. A Youtube.com video URL looks something like this:

You then fill in a video title and explanation and then finally select the company which the video is related to from our website’s database (if the company is not in our database or it is a general video not specific to our company select “none”). Selecting the company the video is related to will ensure the video appears on the page in the website which is devoted specifically to that company.

All videos are also archive don the general “Videos” page.

How do I view Poll results?

To view community Poll results you must firstly log-in (register if you are not yet registered) and then you can navigate to the page which shows al poll results for the various company surveys (voting is one way to activate the link to navigate that page).

Poll data represents the last 30 days of votes and a ranking system is used to list the companies via the formula

(BUY votes + HOLD votes) divided SELL votes

This approach has been chosen as one way to list stocks in order showing the community consensus “BUYs” re at the top of the list.

If a company Poll has  not yet had more than 6 votes it is pushed to a bottom section on page listing all Poll data.

Adding a new company to the website

Adding a new company to the websites tracking list involves emailing the Administrators on the Contact Us page. The administrators carefully consider than it fits in the realm of Biotechnology and Medical applications and then if chosen add a webpage, poll, video and BLOG section specific to that company.

You should declare if you own a stock if you are commenting on it?

As per ASIC Regulatory Guide 162 a user should declare if you own a stock if you are commenting on it (i.e. posting a BLOG or a forum comment).

All users can add events to the Calendar

All users can add events to the Calendar by logging-in and then navigating to “Event” in you personal menu (appears once logged in underneath the main menu). Once in your “Event” menu simply click add event and fill in the details.

We are expecting eth community to add such things as conferences, investor gatherings or even company announcements/events.

Logging-in for the first time

Logging-in for the first time involves:

   1. firstly signing up (with a valid email address & a single word Username) - after
       reading the terns of use

   2. an activation email is then sent to your email address

   3. once your activation email arrives click on the activation link and you are then
       able to log-in to use member functions or edit your profile
